Anyone else notice what was shown on the dashboard display of the payload Tesla car?

"Don't Panic" laugh

Wonderful perfect quadraphonic sound with distortion levels so low as to make a brave man weep smile

Did indeed, and the brief report package on the Beeb website was a joy to watch. Just fantastic all round!

Cheers

But the live feed as the Tesla rotated slowly and Earth passed across the field was priceless. Bowie playing on the radio “Life on Mars”? Or was it the two boosters landing simultaneously back at launch pad for reuse? Rekindled the excitement of Apollo. And I thought configuring Meridian stuff was rocket science!

If you've read too many comics you will know that it only a matter of time before Musk turns into Iron Man or Lex Luthor !

Did you see his press conference about future aliens finding the Tesla (as it will be orbiting for perhaps billions of years)? Wondering what we were up to? Did we worship our cars? My question is how do you think the leather will hold up under the sun? I sure hope he conditioned it well...

Musk already had a cameo in the "original" Iron Man movie a few years ago.

A workmate summed up the booster landing perfectly,

“Science fiction come true _ Just like Thunderbirds!”

I imagine Mothership something else than a Tesla. If it is I’ll jump ship.

I had the same “wow...that is like Thunderbirds” thought.

I also read the the Flat Earthers claim that it is just a take off played backwards. So, I have decided that anyone who believes the Earth is flat is automatically banned from ever posting on this forum. 🙄

I read some where that “If the Earth was flat, Cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now”.
