The various 40th Anniversary editions of King Crimson albums include a 24/96 stereo MLP version of the album.

I just tried to import the "In the Court of the Crimson King" MLP album using Audacity, to no avail.

Has anyone succeeded in importing this format into Sooloos?

I have done this with DVDAudioExtractor on the Mac. (I think that’s what the app is called. I’ll check. )

Ah, MLP stereo 24/96 is the same codec format as DVD-A audio?

For some reason I thought it was different.

MLP is one possible codec on a DVD-A. I have at least one with identical content in both MLP and PCM. As MLP is lossless I don’t see any advantage, but in my experience DVD-Audio mastering is very hit and miss. (I have one with all the Audio twice in the same format...)

In any case MLP rips to PCM.
