The design of these Vapor Audio Nimbus Black loudspeakers appears similar to Meridian’s offerings.

I can see what you mean, except for all the supporting entrails littering the floor that couldn't quite make it inside in spite of the speakers' not inconsiderable girth (though that might just be the wide-angle effect).

They have more of an American muscle car design aesthetic to my eyes than a European one. They're certainly not understated, especially given those accompanying plinths.

They certainly are Fatboys, some synergy here, look as if they are about to Vaporise. Seems as if they were designed from the inside to out, which is not a bad thing. However few would be able to accommodate such dimensions.

The range of capacitor upgrade pricing is sufficient to ensure anyone's wallet skips a beat.

Not seeing many similarities at all. A fundamental of the 8 (and 6)k, is a separate head unit, designed to remove the influence of the bass units and vibration from the mid/ high. This happens with 7200s as well but the separate head is built in.

Personally I find the Vapour pretty ugly. 8 ks do have a big arse though...
