Agree, but, I don't ever recall seeing Gaucho as a DTS CD. DVDA 5.1 and SACD 5.1 for sure but not CD.

For the DTS CD's that I have you will often see a specific entry for DTS

e.g.



I think the Gaucho example is just lazy copy/paste from the label and or Rovi or whoever.

Strangely, it's not showing up as MQA for me through Roon or the Tidal app even though Tidal says it's Master. No little light on this one yet.

If Roon does MQA first unfold, could it pass the appropriate rendering instruction to SE speakers like this:

Roon --> MS600 --> SE speakers

Or, will it always require hardware like 218 or 818 until the rules change? Could that change be a firmware upgrade?

Not at the moment: 218 or 818 or 808 is needed. I would expect any change to be in the SE speaker firmware.
