After replacing my PC when the hard drive failed I cannot reinstall my MC200. Whenever I download the Sooloos application and try and open it I am directed to install the .NET programme. When I try and install it, I am advised that it already exists. As a relative numbskull in such matters, can anyone advice please?

Did you run the installer as administrator?

Not sure why you need to reinstall the MC200 - it should not be affected by a failure of your PC's hard drive. Do you mean you can't re-install Control:PC or Control:Mac?

Assuming this is the problem there should be a simple solution. Do you know how to work out the IP address of the MC200 core? If so, type this address into any internet browser to display Control:Web. From this you will be able to install directly the full version of Control:PC by going into Settings and following the link.

Hi Bryan,

It possible that the .NET 3.5 framework is installed but not enabled, have a read of this to see if it helps:

Install the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 8

Carl

Thanks for the advice, I will attempt over the weekend, but Control:PC is probably the cause/issue.

I now have it working direct into my DSP5200 but need to be able to link to rhe PC to uploads further music to the Core.

Thanks, I will have a look at this too as it does not appear to be enabled as despite saying it is already downloaded when i seek to install, it does not show in the programs directory.
