I've noticed that my avatar has changed (been changed?) today from my old "Intel Inside, Idiot Outside" to what appears to be a Mercedes F1 car driving past a Pirelli hoarding.

Is this some random IoT act, or was somebody bored with my old one?!

crazy

I suspect it was a hommage to the thrashing that Mercedes gave Ferrari last weekend and the tyre problems that some suffered... whistle

My avatar seems to be faulty; apparently photobucket has changed their terms and are systematically blocking linked photos; that's all my forum photos for the last ten years buggered!

You can log into your photobucket account, download the image and upload it in each forum.

No Darling, I've had it months!

Not a quick job though.
I might get around to it, or find another hosting site; I have all the originals, I only upload ones that I want to link to in forums or eBay.
Just a pain really, I should really fix my avatar though…

I think I've fixed it?

Now to sort the rest…

Don't shoot the messenger but just read this elsewhere...

Quote:
I read somewhere on the internet that if you modify the Photobucket link to show .jpg~original from just plain .jpg then the images will re-appear. I started doing this to my 'Show us Yours' posting of the Heat Pump install at Courtiestown and didn't even have to modify every picture.

All my Photobucket pictures for this posting are now showing.

Even if it does work, may be a bit late in the day for some.
