Meridian have now expanded the Linear Power Supply upgrades to include 861v3 and also the 808 CD Players.
Now if you are running the original switch-mode, multi-voltage power supplies in your 861 v3, v4 and v6 Surround Controller and also in the 808 v1, v2 and v3 CD players you can upgrade to a Linear, transformer based, power supply.
The new linear power supplies offer:
Improved power fluctuation immunity even in areas with poor mains supplies.
Sonic benefits from improved secondary regulation, which benefits both digital and analogue outputs.
Lower noise, providing greater detail, clarity and separation on all sources
Price is £750 plus 2 hours installation, please contact your premier partner to discuss.

I don't know if Meridian is offering the LPS for the 800 but I had mine put in by the repair shop "Marc Koval", near Atlanta USA. I am very pleased with the results.
