Just point a web browser at the ID41's IP address.

If you don't know the address, install a network scanner such as Fing on your iPad or PC.

Alternatively you could look your router's IP address table, but you would then have to be familiar with that device as well.

The IP can also be found from the Sooloos core, but the above methods work even if your not running a Core. Which if your running Roon should be the case.

Carl

I believe your Sooloos Core is running on your C15.

Find out what IP address the C15 is using and then point a web browser at:

http://IpAddressOfC15/debug

i.e. http://192.168.1.100/debug

This will display lots and lots of info include the software/firmware version of all connected Sooloos devices.

Carl

And bearing in mind you have a Control:15, are you turning off the Sooloos Core when trying to use Roon? Otherwise, Sooloos will keep trying to steal the ID41, causing instability.

My ID41s (I have two) are 100% stable with Roon. My Sooloos is currently switched off, but should Meridian release a firmware which means it plays fair on the network, I will switch it on again.

Or on the C15 go to settings, device manager and the ID41 should be listed with its IP address.

C15 has been boxed up since I switched so it's not possible to go in the debug (C15 isn't even at home now).....

can I only go in debug from Sooloos?

I have recently installed RoonServer on a QNAP (TS-670 Pro with 16GB RAM and an SSD installed) and use endpoints connected to an MC600 and the 861v8-ID41 card. I have been loosing the ID41 card as a zone. I checked the Sooloos debug and the ID41 Device Version is showing as 169 - is this the latest firmware? The Sooloos software is v2.516.

On advice from Ratbert I have been trying to use the Sooloos Config Program to turn the MC600 Core and Control functions off. I have down loaded the latest version (v31) using Parallels with Win 10 and installed it - but it does not find my MC600 or ID41!? My Mac is connected via ethernet on the same network as the MC600. I can see the Sooloos Broker Debug page and Sooloos Web Client browser within Windows 10 - so the MC600 is indeed on the network. Seems strange to me. Is v31 not good with Windows 10?

Any assistance greatly appreciated...

Hi Adrian

I run Sooloos config v31 on Windows 10 and have no issues. I can check the version of my ID41 tomorrow and let you know? As a test have you tried turning the MC600 off, do you still lose the ID41 zone?
