Love Tedeschi Trucks Band. Had Live Derek Trucks Band DVD ages ago and liked to a lot. He is quite an unassuming guy but regularly turns up at Eric Clapton's Crossroads concerts and is held in great esteem by his peers.

Status Quo "Aquostic" live from the roundhouse via BBC the Red Button.
Completely out of their comfort zones with no electric guitars in site.
It's a great show and nice to see them do somthing different.

Enjoy, Chris smile

Who saw Candy Staton close the Andrew Marr show?
That was a great sound from a great band. A real treat. Chris smile

Lou Brown
"What Are You Singing About"
Signed copy bought at the local charity shop for 0.50.
Would have kept this to myself, however comments from two nearly independent sources prompt me to share this with a wider audience.
First response was from Justin Rhodes at Meridian Oxford.
"This is a noisy recording"
My response was "that it grabbed your ears and made you listen". "Yes" was the reply.

Second response was from SWMBO the final arbiter (the other end of the audio spectrum)
Who is this? I love her voice.

I feel totally justified in recommending this wonderful recording in Recommended Music Thread.

So good to find such original talent and will report on next Amazon investment 2.06 spent on another Lou Brown disk shortly.

Just got the Tedschi Trucks Band - Live; that version of Midnight in Harlem is excellent. Think I prefer this album to Made Up Mind so far...

For anyone interested in Maghreb rock, I can recommend the catalogue of Tinariwen. Imidiwan is a great start...

Wonderful perfect quadraphonic sound with distortion levels so low as to make a brave man weep smile
