That's cheap compared to the top option on my last car, which was 5.1 Dynaudio with 100W per channel. It sounded great but should have been even better for the eye-watering price.

To be fair haven't played round with it too much yet, it has the logo on the two speakers at the top of each door. Still, long weekend ahead to play around, I can't quite believe they are just putting their name on it if it is not that good.

The car itself is very nice, let's hope I can do some worthwhile 'tweaking' over the weekend.

And it hasn't broken down yet!

Setup: not much anymore, really. but things might change

Hi all,

This thread isn't really about Meridian HiFi and I don't beleve we need a "Meridian Automotive" forum [well not yet at least] so I've moved it over to HiFi Chat.

Regards,
Carl

Absolutely.

I ordered the originally planned F-Type (below) in 2000, paid my deposit and waited. A couple of years later I was told that the car was not going to be made as Jaguar wanted to invest in diesel engine technology. So I got my deposit back. If I still had the cash to splash, I would have regretted not staying in the queue now. I still got the number plate that I bought for it on my Smart car though - see page 1.

Don't think that the real car looks as good. The concept from 2000 was beautiful, all it was missing was the tail a'la D-Type. Production styling changes were going to be minimal.
