OK, perhaps not an obvious topic for this forum, but anyone here have an opinion on whether the 24 bit FLAC version on the USB dongle was/is worth hunting down? Now that I've got my newest toy (MC200) I'm looking for hirez material.

Bits are resolution

www.HDtracks.com has a 24bit/88.2-96Kh store that has some excellent 2 channel stereo HD jazz and classical and even some rock n roll. If you own DVD-Audio discs there is a way with foobar2000 to rip and import them into your Sooloos system.

We've all said we'll never buy the ' The White Album ' again , but really the USB sounds fresher than most modern music and reminds you that The Beatles were actually a really good 'band ' too .

WIth or without the MC200 , well worth acquiring .

I was not that impressed with the USB stick difference vs the recently remastered CD's on my MC 200. Somewhat better but just. I would say this is the smallest hi rez difference I own.

I have the USB and some of the same CDs and the USB 24bit version is much much warmer more debth
The orginal masters were done in 24 bit 44.1 Khz and downsampled to 16 bit for the CD!

Should You Buy The Beatles USB Apple?

Relative newbee with the MC200. Uploading a CD is trivial, but is it just as easy to upload from a source liek the Beatles USB? How does one do it?
