It's real!

You can tell by the number of typos/poor English.

Do you think the benefits includes a company McLaren?

I wish Mercedes Benz and Meridian would team up and do something, especially on the higher end models. MB has gone through Bose, Harmon Kardon and they really need to step it up. Lexus has Mark Levinson. Plus MB has a bigger market than Jaguar Land Rover.

Just my two cents.

Yes, it is a pity they don't advertise for a humble copy-editor!

On a more positive note, this must surely be a sign of Meridian's growth and therefore to be enthusiastically welcomed.

[Yes, I know many here would rather the money was spent in other directions.]

I agree with looking for the positives but it's not immediately obvious that the f80 has significantly changed the game in the past few years.

The changes we're seeing in Meridian are consistent with changing from a high value low volume of sales to a high volume, low value company. This might be good for M but, at the moment to me at least, it's not obvious it's good for the high value customer. And of course once everyone has a M system the prestige will diminish (although I suspect M is too unknown at the moment for prestige to be a significant issue, sorry).

Change is often difficult and painful for the company and old customers let's hope the outcome is good for all of us.

I see Meridians move into high end car audio as a very good thing. If conpany can grow it doesnt really matter where that growth is, it will allow them to put more resources into all areas of the business, so we may see a return to a customer service centre that deals with the actual customer.

No Darling, I've had it months!

Prestige wont diminish as long as High value product is distinct in its Branding.

VW have done it in the car world. Audi is Top Range, VW is Traditional, Skoda is Economy. This is as I percieve it.

Underneath, so much is the same.

Old 500 series kit is classic, like a golf GTI of days gone bye.

Cheers Chris smile

No 18 in the Hall of fame smile I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best:
GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 218 zone... (Thanks Russ) Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2 and Mini. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos.
My F80 is in repair...

Meridian will in my eyes not succeed in the automotive arena until they can somehow get Clarkson to spend the first minute of a car review raving on how good the in car stereo is and then becoming a Meridian convert from a B&O one and telling everyone so. Then the icing on the cake will be James May buying Meridian on merit (no reason why he should not) then making a TV program all about the history of Meridian products. Ok so the last but may be expecting a little too much but it would signal the start or world domination.

Then it would all go horribly wrong when Richard Hammond crashes a Meridian system live on air.
