Not any more, not according to recent stats.

If you want to get more pleasure out of your Bimmer, get the clutch delay valve removed:

http://www.zeckhausen.com/CDV.htm

Since '99 they've been putting this insidious device in their cars and its just a CRIME. You want to be worked up over something, this is worth your ire.

Yes I refer to the McLaren. Yes, in car is generally a terrible place for audio. However, I am just having fun with you smile I lower my expectations for in car, but I want something that sounds clear and has dynamics. I am sure Meridian and McLaren can deliver that. More concerning to me is the turbo motor in the MP4-12C. Turbos generally kill the exhaust sound. I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now- I hope they can deliver the goods because the CF tub construction is truly a fantastic innovation and their focus on light weight is the way to go. If anyone wants a real fun reasonably priced sports car check out the Lotuses. Great fun.

Do people really sneer at you if you show up in a BMW vs Audi? Thats nuts. You may prefer one over the other for various reasons, but they are close enough that if I would sneer at you for one, I might as well sneer at you for the other. Its interesting how people get so worked up over a badge. Btw, I've been there so Im not immune to that.

Best regards,
Jerry
