Wondering if I can get some help from this board! I recently acquired a set of DSP5500 MKI, but already upgraded to 24/95. The speakers work fine, however, I have not been able to do any room correction.

My setup uses the Meridian 565 surround processor, therefore, I use "Type 6". The instructions in the manual are as follows:

1. Turn off power supply from the back of the "master" speaker. Waite a few seconds.

2. While holding down the "store" button on the remote, turn on the power again. The display should show "SEt" and then quickly reverts to the standby mode. (THESE TWO STEPS WORKED FINE).

3. Use the left/right arrow keys (or "Function" + left/right )to bring up a setup menu (e.g. tilt, Bass control, room correction, etc.). I DID, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. I HAVE DONE THIS A NUMBER OF TIMES TO NO AVAIL. I even disconnected the COMM links, still no luck.

Anybody ever had this problem? If so, how did you solve it. I contacted Meridian, but it appeared and 'idiot' answered my email, because the moron simply regurgiated the same instructions from the manual. mad

Thanks in advance.

just to put it in a simple way:
After the display shows "Setup" and revert to standby you proceed by pressing a source button, for example CD button on the remote. Now you can use your function keys.
