New firmware version 4.19 is available for these components. It mainly focuses the added bass extension feature of the DSP9 and DSP8000XE allowing you to turn it on or off. Some may have noticed this added feature in the recent update for the 218, 271, 251 and ID41. As this benefits only those who own both 808v3-6 or 818v1-3 AND DSP9 or DSP8000XE, don't get all wadded up about updating your components until we see some release notes in order to tell if the update is beneficial for the rest of us.
