With his second set of tests it might be. His first set of tests didn't make sense as the output that was bad changed based on what he was playing. That wouldn't be the problem I suggested. The broken/working output would be consistent for all material no mater what he played. It might only vary on power cycles.

Shawn and George, I did those test over several hours on Saturday. There were power ups and downs but I didn't know then that it made a difference and should be documented. I'm going to do the tests Gary suggested using JVC receiver into passive speakers and will cycle on and off and switch in Bluray and SACD.That should settle it; I want to eliminate the Meridian settings as an issue so Gary can focus back on either the Oppo or his mods...later and thanks...more than you'll ever know!
