When will you be able to ship????

Roger

Roger, we are just waiting for Oppo to release the player, then we can get this thing started

it will take a few weeks after the PB is over for you to get the player

thanks

What brand/type of cable is recommended for the three coaxial digital connections of the modified Oppo with Meridian processors? Does it matter? Any limits to the size of the connectors on the cables (You may have experienced how "crowded" the connectors can become on the back of a processor.)? Are the outputs on the Oppo sturdy enough to accommodate relatively stiff and heavy cables like NBS or Transparent Audio?

Just go for well made and screened 75ohm cables and connectors. Get them from http://www.bluejeanscable.com./store/digital-audio/index.htm. End of story.

Which, unless I'm mistaken, will be of similar components (Belden/Canare/75 ohm) and manufacture (crimped) as the BlueJeans stuff.

Hi Gary,

I wonder if I could seek further clarification. Are you sure the Oppo 83 can play back .WAV uncompressed audio files? I've just received some robust replies from beta testers on the AVSForum clearly stating this is not the case. They are however hoping for MLP in the future. Many thanks in advance,

Regards,

Paul

Paul, every Oppo has always been able to playback .WAV from USB, if it isn't working now it will be before shipping

I have been beta testing the Oppo for 5 months now, I can't say much do to NDA, but trust me, you will be just fine

thanks

Gary,

What % discount from your website posted prices would the group buy represent?

Are you offering the CLUX modification?

Cheers, Ian

Ian, I think we are going to be looking at around 8% discount off the website prices including shipping

I think people will be very pleased with the pricing

we will mod any device for SPDIF and develop it(for a small charge) if never done before

thanks

Are the website prices including or excluding US taxes?
