The Edge stills takes the Kuro to a new level, its sharpening algorithms are far better than the Kuros, and the way it handles 480i that has been deinterlaced by cheap set top boxes etc. by interlacing them and then doing it again properly makes a hell of a difference.

The KURO is good out the box fro colour and greyscale, however it's processing is still way behind what the EDGE will offer.

Plus the EDGE is only a little more than a decent HDMI switcher.
