It seems that the Omnimount 75 that Meridian recommends in the manual are nowadays only available as LCD mounts. If you know which mounts are suited to be used for the DSP33 and know where I can buy them, please let me know. If you have mounts for sale, also please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Hi Joel,

Thanks for the info! The mount from the 1st link on the OmniMountPro website looks interesting. Do you know where or how to buy them in the Netherlands or in Europe? The 'Where to buy' link on the site only gives addresses in the states.

Canford in the UK are a supplier: http://www.canford.co.uk/Browse/40818.aspx

But I bought from Amazon in the US and brought them back in my suitcase. Much cheaper...

It appears that the mounting plate has a different hole pattern than the DSP33. While it would be easy to make an adapter from aluminum plate, is there solution from Omnimount?

The Omnimount 30 plate should be perfect. Which picture are you referring to?

That's the plate that goes on the other end, the ceiling in this particular case. It's the same as the top plate in this link:

OK, I see now. The ones that came with my DSP33s have a different wall mount. Thanks.

With these mounts, can the DSP33 also hang vertically or only horizontally?

Actually, I think they are designed for vertical hanging and I was planning on using them that way. I'm not sure what the balance would be like if you tried to do it horizontally (but that is probably a moot point, vertical is fine).

The problem is that the mounting is not in the center of the speaker, so the balance will most likely be off to one side.
