I wonder how "the box" will handle MHR metadata. Currently, any multi-channel PCM from a non-Meridian source will be treated as "Music6".

There is also the big unanswered question as to whether or not the "Cinema" preset actually adds 10dB to the LFE channel (or if this is done in the player or processor decoder), and whether or not it chooses to do this based on SmartLink metadata. Frankly, I still haven't got a clue as to whether I should select "Cinema" or "Discrete" for multi-channel movie PCM decoded in a non-Meridian player.

This is actually a real problem now for anyone with a 3x SPDIF DVD/HDDVD/Blu-Ray player modification.
