Sounds like Meridian will make their products, new or used, even more unsaleable. In initially purchasing the 861 v4 I was told that they would be updating the product to keep it at the state of the art...instead they are producing fancy table radios and replacing CD player models...the quick jump from the 800.1 to 800.2 with NO upgrade path for the folks who purchased the one version...so my upgrade path will likely be Denon...even Theta that nearly went out of business moves faster and the new owners are supporting their customer base...unlike Meridian
