As context, I am a Mac user and it has been something like 15 years since I was remotely current on PCs and Windows. Please forgive the ignorant questions that follow.

I have an old PC laptop running Win7, and according to Dell, not compatible with Win10 or 11.

I only use that laptop for connecting to my Meridian system.

It's my understanding that Meridian device manager requires Win10, and will not work with Win11.

I haven't been able to find compatibility specs for device manager. That, combined with my complete ignorance of modern-ish PC hardware make it tough for me to decide on a Win10 laptop.

I'm seeing the following on Amazon for US $200, but don't know if this is an appropriate choice. I'd be grateful for any guidance.
