Overview
The update adds SSDP search response to all four products. This works in conjunction with the current version of the
Meridian Control App, and is designed to allow the app to discover products more quickly – particularly relevant in
installations with large numbers of Meridian networked products.
In addition, this update adds maintenance improvements to 271 and ID41 which had previously been introduced on 218 and 251.

How to carry out the updates
The firmware on these products is updated using the Meridian Device Manager, a Windows PC program which can
be downloaded from the Meridian website.
Please note: the Meridian Device Manager program is not available for use with Apple Mac.
When Meridian Device Manager is run, it will find all relevant Meridian products connected to the network and offer
the option to update the products for which updates are available. While a product is being updated, playback may be
interrupted and functionality will be disabled, so ensure that this will not cause problems before running the program.
