I use a Kimber D60 coax interconnect on my WiiM and a Kimber DV30 coax interconnect on my legacy 5.2KC.

The surrounds use the Meridian provided comms & coax cables due to the run length. (and expense of custom cables lol). You will need also to use the legacy comms either Din or BNC using a converter interface.

My 861 does not have SL and I use a Kimber DV30 from my Blu-Ray player. No comms required on the blu-ray but I use the aforesaid converter from my 8K's to the 861.

Hope that all makes sense.

In terms of audio input capabilities, it supports 2-channel up to 48kHz@16bit LPCM via HDMI from TV via eARC, it supports 2-channel up to 192kHz@24bit LPCM via HDMI Input, it supports 2-channel up to 192kHz@24bit LPCM via HDMI Input. SpeakerLink capabilities are also available: 2-channel up to 192 kHz@24bit lpcm or Meridian true link (MHR) coded digitally digitally and dtS-through (no decoding) control options.

UHD121 is £1,000 inc VAT here in the UK and now available.

I’m not sure how long it’s been there for, but there is a user guide on Meridian’s product page – which I haven’t seen before - but it may have been there a while!

It mentions that certain devices (e.g. 210) won’t power it over SpeakerLink.

It also goes through the many configuration options should the out of box functionality not be appropriate.

Wow, the UHD121 appears to be an excellent product to enhance the capabilities of M DSP speakers. I am assuming that the owners of legacy speakers can play along also. If any evaluation units are available please send one along my way to give it some real world use, This product intro has renewed my interest in M.

I have an 861v4 which is non-SL and at the moment use coax for 5.1 input. Will this new device work in my environment.

If I understand correctly, this is like the UHD722 but 2ch and without input switching?

I could see a use case for many people where the smart TV is most if not all of the HDMI sources, so a single EARC input to MMHR with CEC would be ideal.
