Hi All, I have a pair of 5200SL and a 218 running with a gen1 Sonos Connect. All has been working very well and very happy with it. I recently added my TV via optical but no other changes I can remember.

The sound has become very muffled, almost mono and nothing like it was.

I have been trying to troubleshoot swapping out cables and reconfiguring everything but can't seem to make a difference, they sound terrible.

My configuration is:
Sonos Connect connected via Coax to the 218.
Cat6 cables from 218 slave and master to the required speakers.
I have set the speakers to type 5.
When I try and check the configuration pressing clear one speaker turns on and displays AUTO then CON, the other does nothing.
If I select a source they turn on but the sound is poor.

Any suggestions on what I may have done wrong or if there is a fault I would very much appreciate it.
