I've been reading on the forum that EBA makes a big difference. .. but when I use it with my surround setup the delay with EBA on is noticeable so there is certainly something happening with EBA on  I can’t tell from your signature, but are you mixing legacy speakers with Special Edition in a surround setup? If so, their “unified latency” delays (if all are using the most recent firmware) will not match the higher frequency delay implemented by EBA. Someone here probably remembers the number of milliseconds involved, which would give you a start in adjusting configuration to get the soundstage you want…
