This question is for the basic DSW version only, NOT for the version 2.
1) Did the DSW ever get a newer fw version?
2) What is the basic fw version?
3) Which fw version is the latest?
4) What are the differences - improvements?
5) How I can check it?
6) How I can upload the newest fw?
The serial number is DSW- 1001xx.
Any help is welcome

Actually, the latest firmware is v1.6.
DSW Product Firmware Release 1.6.6 (2024-11-25)
New Features:
- New Bass Protection algorithm
- Improved audio capture algorithm
- Smooth volume changes

I would be very keen to upgrade my firmware, I am sure I don't have the latest. Would you be willing to share?

Is that fw for the specific basic DSW version,
NOT DSW-2 version ?
Iam asking that as you refer to a sw that is from the year 2024,
and the basic DSW is about from the year 2011 ?
It’s a surprise that M support the sw for a 14 year old product ?
The upgrade have to be Donne as other equipment via the serial or SpeakerLink
The M sw version table shows only version 1.2 .
Please enlighten me——

Hi Robert,
I've double-checked, and that is the version for the original DSW (v1.66). There is also a version v1.66 for the DSW.2 as well.
They are both available from the Meridian dealer's site.
The upgrade would need to be completed via the SpeakerLink connector, using the Firmware upgrade utility.

Ironically as this post was made I decided to check my firmware version and it is v1.20
So quick email to my dealer for v1.6.6 and off we go; fingers crossed.
