FWIW, in the UK, early morning, around 00:45, Radio 4 always play an old recording of ‘Sailing By’ as an introduction to the Shipping Forecast. Some call it the Radio 4 theme. I’ve come to appreciate the recording, especially when I’m still awake.
So, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a modern recording of ‘Sailing By’ via Tidal - arranged by Carl Davis and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, from the album ‘Last Night of the Proms’.
It doesn’t have the same rustic charm of the much older Radio 4 recording, but it’s pleasant listening to whenever I choose at any time of the day.

Fun fact: Bob Stuart’s Daughter is an accomplished Violinist. My Daughter plays Violin (Grade 8 Merit). Over the years I have bought/upgraded her acoustic/classic Violins from Nigel Kennedy’s Luthier, plus Yamaha Silent Strings (electric) Violin - and she has added a Fender FV-1 electric Violin to her collection. That is why I truly appreciate Nina DiGregorio performing Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb on her Yamaha Silent Strings Violin. She is an integral member of Femmes of Rock. You can listen to them via Tidal.

The overall tonality of Pat Metheny’s latest Acoustic Guitar Album, ‘MoonDial’ really makes my DSP’s worth the purchase price.

RE Supertramp, I've never been able to find their first album on Tidal or anything else.
I had it on original vinyl years ago...
