I have a 818.3 to try but I can't get it communicating all functions with the DSP7200.2. Axis, EBA, EBC, Loudness, position don't seem to react.
With 218 these functions work. After pressing store on the app the sound drops off for a second or so and the DSP's play with the new adjustment.
That's not the case with the 818, it plays without interruption and no noticeable sound changing. Bass, treble and balance work fine.

You have to enable SpeakerLink menus. EBC only applies to the M6 and DSW.

Do you mean the "enable EBA menu" etc? Those are all selected in setup and visible when I want to change things per source. I can't find enabling SpeakerLink menus.

Both are setup right. I’ve used SL.Diagnostics.
The DSP’s and 818 are not synchronised. I have to switch the DSP's and 818 to the same modes, EBA, loudness and EBC are not visible on the speakers.
The previously mentioned modes are visible and react. The 818 is setup as controller.

EBA must be enabled in the speaker configuration menu, the options are :
ON
OFf
SL
When set to SL, an appropriate SL processor can turn EBA on of off from the processor menus with a MSR or front panel buttons or the Meridian Controll App.
Again, EBC only applies to speakers with down firing drivers such as the M6 and DSW. EBC will not show up on your speaker displays as this option does not apply.
Loudness can be turned on and off from an appropriate processor via speakerlink but it's status does not get displayed on the speaker.

Thanx again Bruce. Those adjustments were also right but i do not notice any sound changing on any of those functions between the DSP7200se (upgraded) and the 818.
Before with the 218 and the 7200,2 the difference was much more noticeable. Perhaps i should try them with the 818

Of course. What version of firmware is in the 818? I think 4.14 is the latest?

The previously mentioned modes are visible and react. The 818 is setup as controller. If the DSPs and 818 are not sync’d you still have a problem of some kind. Perhaps try re-typing the speakers and the 818. If that fails, then try swapping out cables. You definitely have one DSP set to Master, right?

Just out of interest I'm experiencing the same problem . If you don't mind me asking what was the solution or did you sort it?

, DSP8000SE, MacPro (the little bin), Virgin box, Sony XR77A80K, Missing Link Reference HCX cables, Townshend speaker support...

No problem of course, where here to help.
For some strange reason Mconfig decided by itself that left was master instead of the right.
It did the same with my G68. After trying a few times I decided to make the left master.
If I'm not mistaken you have to set the EBA etc. on both DSP's to SpeakerLink. Perhaps someone can confirm that.
