One can still “light up” if you go to The Nordic sound 352L !?

Those in the HIGHREZAUDIO service area can still get MQA. I would already be a member if I was in their jurisdiction.

Ironically the owner commissioned an MQA smear job when it first came out. A "paper" was written by someone who had no idea what MQA was. MQA Technical Analysis Hypothesis Paper

Hi
l did further search and found upto 20 recordings on Tidal all which show 352 on the speakers and activate the blu light along with 4x on The Prime. The Prime is fed directly from my Zen.
Sadly l am at an age now when the why’s and therefore’s as to why get beyond me but not my curiosity!
Can anyone please help?

One can still “light up” if you go to The Nordic sound 352L !? Interested to know how you get that. If I search in Tidal I find that album and it’s only one version - the 44/16 one. Roon finds the MQA version and even though the signal path says it’s MQA, it’s not showing that on my DSP7200. Just 44/16. If I play any of albums in my Tidal library that were MQA via Tidal Connect they now only play in FLAC. No MQA lights. That would be consistent with what Tidal said here. Roon continues to suggest that some MQA material is available from Tidal - and Tidal is the only streaming service I have - but if I search for that same material directly in Tidal connect it does not find any MQA material. Does this vary depending on where in the world you live perhaps?

Since l realized that the Nordic 352L, which l had placed in Tidal over 2 years ago, was still displaying MQA 352 on my 7200se and also the blue light and MQA come on on the Prime l have since uploaded over 20 other 352 on Tidal all which show MQA etc. Whether they are true MQA l cannot confirm as nearly all works l am not over familiar with but suffice to say all sound excellent and very clear.
Re location l live mid Dorset !?

All playing again now in Roon. Even some James Taylor and Joni Mitchell. Not sure why they were not being decoded the other day.

l have found a good number of recordings in the classical music, which is my mostly listening, which are showing and coming up as MQA in particular EMI recordings. There are still a good number which show as MQA but then come up as MHR. We wait and see🤔!
