Yes. There are three processors that keep things all digital, Trinnov, Storm and Lyngdorf. All others will be analog.

Do you think is Audiocontrol x7 Is good fit ?
Or as you mentioned Wich one is better digital or analog?
So I can use any subwoofer if I use my processor! But I want to know how good is SW5500 compare to my SVS sb16 what subwoofer do you use ?
I don’t have dedicated HT room and my living room size about 14 x 10
So I think 5200se center is fine until I can find good 7200 for reasonable price

I haven't used an AudioControl processor yet but I do have access to them should you need help with that. The SW5500 is a good subwoofer but it has a reputation with system calibrators for not being able to go really low for theater use. Your 5200SE center is still very good and will work fine for now.

BTW if you are going to part out the 8kSEU, I know a guy who would like all the grilles.

Also one question please is sound quality too different between analog and digital?

Also thanks for advice and comments.

Keeping the signal in the digital domain until it gets to the Meridian speakers will give you the best possible audio performance.
Using an analog processor subjects the signal to additional digital to analog and analog to digital conversions.

Just wondering out loud…

As a fudge/workaround, could a pair of DSP3200’s mounted on top of these headless 8200’s work out overall?

Sort of but a 3200 has a wide range driver and not a true tweeter.

In my opinion, you should not rule out the 861v8 when using high end Meridian speakers. Nor the streaming part with an ID41 fitted. Sound quality wise they are probably still the best, if you’re not going any more than 7.1 channels and they’re all integrated to work perfectly with Meridian speakers. And of course are digital all the way through the chain.

At least hear one, at some point, even if you start things off with your current processor…

From what you have written, it seems that you have found yet another DSP8000SE that has some damage and you intend to transplant the head unit and electronics from that set onto the red anniversary body??
