I remain very sceptical about mains power conditioners. If I have paid for a decent set of equipment - in my case DSP7200SE - then I would expect the designer and manufacturer to include within the power supply for the equipment the capability and means to reject DC offsets, ripple, fluctuations etc on the incoming mains supply. The science suggests that it is much better to do things that way and it is much cheaper and more efficient to do so. It’s the same with Entreq ground boxes. Why will a wooden box full of sand make any difference to the route a current takes to earth?
If anyone can persuade me that this is more than snake oil I’m open to listening. But I am not persuaded by the scientific studies I have read that a properly designed power supply won’t already be doing the job a mains power conditioner purports to do. And I assume the power supplies in my Meridian equipment are properly designed.
