I saw my first Jaguar E-Pace up close and personal when out shopping today. On first looks I was impressed.

Does anyone on here own one? Opinions?

Pity that it’s only a hybrid rather than full BEV.

We drive an i-Pace, the full-electric model. (Confusingly, the e-Pace is not electric.) It is enormous fun and very comfortable. The Meridian sound system in it is better than some I've heard, but it's very clear that the amplifier is underpowered and does not have good power reserves: clear treble in the opening of tracks vanishes when bass lines kick in, for example.

One has to remember that when you see a Hi-Fi brand in an automotive context, the contribution to the electronics (sources, amplifiers, drivers) is approximately nil: It is mostly a brand licencing and EQ tuning deal. Jaguar Land Rover do at least offer Trifield, and this is a huge win in a car where *everyone* is sat off axis.

A quick Google image search will show the current Jaguar set up uses drivers made in China that are startling similar to the ones used before the Meridian brand was introduced, and the electronics made in Germany (so Bosch?)

How is reliability? I-pace OR E-pace?

I-Pace, the E-Pace isn't electric. As for reliability, electric cars are amazing as they only have a few moving parts. No plugs, no cam belts, you barely use the breaks, no oil filters, etc. Much cheaper to maintain than a dinosaur burner or a hybrid (which is worst of both worlds.)
