Out of interest Chris, have you found a happy set up with the cinema space that was previously discussed, concerning placement?

Here is how my new room turned out. Need to decide on seating.

How did you decide which surround speakers would timbrally match the Meridians, or did you come to the conclusion that it doesn't really matter?

Seating-wise, I eventually went with some Ligne Roset Togos as I found, with M6s as surrounds, I needed to keep at least their top drivers and my head unbstructed by my backrests.

I will be using a three connected chair configuration with lower backed seats so as not to block tweeters. As for the speaker choices I went with speakers that I represent. Kind of a necessary evil. I suppose that if I tried I might hear a timbral mismatch but in the end everyone leaves the room trying to figure out how they can beg borrow or steal a way to have something similar in their home.

Here's hoping they figure it out and spend all those ill-gotten gains with you. Nice job.

Thanks, Yes, I drew it in Microsoft Visio.
It is impossible to keep track of all the cables if you don't have a drawing. Especially if you are going to make upgrades or changes in the setup.

That's a nice space Bruce. The surrounds are the the Kef R7s I think; where will your seating go, relative to those surround speakers?

I assuming the photo wasn't taken from the listening position!
