Back again with a 561 query.trying to add a centre speaker into the system but the types go from 2.1 with the one being the subwoofer it then goes to 3 (front and centre)but the sub disappears .I can have 4.1 but not 3.1. Confused

You should be able to select a 3.1 setup with the M Legacy program.

The "Legacy Configuration Program" is used to configure the older Meridian equipment such as the 500 series and older 8xx versions.
- Use the [Meridian] Support link at the bottom of this page.
- Select the "Configuration" option from the menu and then from that page ... Download the Common Installer.
- Once downloaded, run setup.exe (Window's will complain because it is not signed but run it anyway).
- Once running, in the choose Component Window ... select and install the "Legacy Configuration Program" (Installing everything is also ok).
