Agreed on this one - I use DSP in Roon, and it works great. Doesn't help with HT, but then, I mostly listen to music, so I don't mind.

I have been unimpressed with the G61R EQ options, but quite a few years have passed, so I suppose it's amazing for the era. Roon is a far more flexible place to implement nowadays, or, if you have a source which doesn't do such EQ natively, maybe put a MiniDSP (digital) in the chain between said source and the processor.

Main System: MiniDSP SHD (Roon, Dirac, Volume) > G61R > DSP5200 Speakerlink L/R, 2x SVS SB3000 Subwoofers
Office1 System: Genelec 8030c L/R, Genelec 7060B Subwoofer
Bedroom System: DIY Sure 2x100w Class D Amp, ELAC DBR62 L/R
