Via an ID41 card yes, it's fine I run my 861 this way.

Roon supports the Sooloos network protocol, thus it can stream to any of the existing Sooloos endpoint such as the ID40, ID41, MS200, MS600, etc.
Though as this is still the Sooloos protocol and is restricted to 96KHz, unlike the Roon network protocol (RAAT) which supports higher rates and also native DSD.
