Now the "left overs" bit ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3145.jpg) Quite a nice cozy space, 8k's swapped for M6... vaguely looks balanced. 861 still missing in other room and will slot into the box on the left - DSW can sneak into a corner somewhere when it lands Still got all the Ambilight system from TV and lighting for "immersive" experience... I hate moving house!

A couple more shots of the wilderness in the garden that I'm sure makes the 8k's "sound better" ;-) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3165.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3162.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3163.jpg) And for those of you who remember the first Africa shots.... remember "the puppy"...? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3164.jpg) Now a "mere" 44kg..... And now has a new buddy, who isn't quite as well designed for Africa (considering he came from Spalding...)! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3166.jpg) Picks up quite a few sticks and bits of mud! Then we have the neighbours....... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/3167.jpg)

When you have 8Ks in the picture and you’re not looking at the 8Ks, you have an amazing view!
The dogs look very contented.
The giraffe is too cool for school.

We're all incredibly contented!
I've never lived in a place with such a sense of "peace", every day when I return from the madness that is working over here, I just get this massive sense of calm come over me and it all becomes worthwhile.
The fact we've saved a fortune in rent because no one actually wants to live out here is still messing with my head!

Simply awesome.

Hehe so far not yet!!
Although the bush babies are noisier than 8k when we haven’t fed them - they love bananas and we know when we forgot to put some out!!

I feel incredibly fortunate to have ended up here. Kind of living the dream. As I’ve never really had a career plan (or managed to hold a job don’t particularly long) somehow the stars lined up... I’m thankful every single day.
It’s by no way perfect. Living here has some very challenging parts, especially in the places we work, but on balance most days I feel incredibly lucky!
