+11 on The Teskey Brothers "Half Mile Harvest". Sixties Motown from Melbourne Australia. The MQA 44k recording is great and truly faithful to original era sound.
They are on world tour early 2019 Union Chapel London is sold out but I believe there are tickets available for The Exchange Bristol and The Bullingdon Oxford.

Today we see the latest MQA release from Van the Man "The Prophet Speaks".
This is coincidental as yesterday was a Van Morrison listening day here and I was impressed by Van Morrison "Duets: Re-Working the Catalogue", not listened to before, but IMO quite amazing.
The high spots of this album for me are VM duets with Clare Teal Track 6 and Chris Farlowe Track 13.
I need to listen to "The Prophet Speaks" again to make an informed comment but first impression, I like it a lot.
Nothing better to do, but listen all day.

For those who can't wait for the Springsteen Broadway set to be released in a few day's time I recommend a couple of acoustic sets from 1996, available on the Boss's official bootleg site, live.brucespringsteen.net.
The two concerts are from the Tom Joad tour, one in Belfast, the other in New Jersey. Both are available in download MQA (24-88 and 24-44) and the sound quality is very good. Click on "Shows" (top bar) and then "1996" (right hand vertical bar).
There's plenty of other great stuff on the site.

Thanks to Altus and Hector for the "Springsteen on Broadway" recommendation. Certainly not background music - The Boss is that good  And I discovered "Lamomali" and "Lamomali Airlines" (an extended live version) on Tidal - African rhythms with the incomparable Toumani Diabate on Kora, accompanied by -M- (Mathieu Chédid) and Sidiki Diabaté.

Just come across this Joan Armatrading "Not too Far Away" for me it is bang on.
Released 18th May 2018, but I missed it. Wonderful recording, powerful to say the least, with excellent piano, guitar, percussion and bass all up front. Reminds me of early Police recordings.
Vocals reach the pinnacles JA achieved years ago. Modern backings but I can easily forgive that, as this album really works for me.
Absolutely Brilliant.
Give it a try, wind this up on your DSPs, 65 should be enough.

My suggestion is to listen to Tidal double album from Josh Turner Your Man / Long Black Train
Josh Ritter Golden Age of Radio (Deluxe Edition).
