Locally, Central News reports that Jaguar/Landrover has informed many of its suppliers that it will not be buying-in any more component parts from them for the next 6 months.
The cause, in part, reflects poor sales in China: recently falling by 50%.
I wonder if Meridian will be adversely affected by this?

The effects will be far and wide I would think... It’s a shame...

Meridian don't supply any component parts for Jaguar - iirc it's a Panasonic unit, or was when some guys that I know were working on some JLR integration projects.
Meridian consult on speaker layouts/audio tuning and component specification, and supply as part of that DSP software for the ICE (entertainment system), but no hardware that I am aware of.
So I doubt any problems, unless they were working on something else that has been cancelled or delayed.
