We bought tickets for his gig in Rome tonight based on knowing him from The E Street Band then decided we'd better get to know some of his solo stuff. Got Soulfire (his new one) & Greatest Hits CDs & over the last 2 weeks or so have really got into his stuff. Some of it is just wonderful.

Then just now I went online to get the address of the venue (as it isn't clear from the tickets) & see that the gig's been cancelled! Good job I checked as we were about to head off. No email or anything from the organisers; typical Italian efficiency... Disappointing doesn't begin to cover it. cry

He's a fantastic song-writer though.
