This may not be transferable, but I recently added an 818V3 to my main system, which allowed me to keep the 861 in position.

The answer (via Gerry Heeley/Des) was to to use both digital inputs on the 7200SEs, but now they are daisy chained rather than using home run as before.

So the configuration is:

818V3 Master output to D1 SL input on Master DSP - SL output on Master DSP to Slave DSP

861V8 Front Master to AC12 - AC12 to SPDIF D2 input on DSP, with BNC Comms.

DSPs then configured for each remote button e.g. SLS to D1, TV to D2.

Cannot deny that I can no longer get my head round what is Controller in the system (DSP?), and whether I have the Comms just right for each source, but it works without switches, and I can switch between MQA and Dolby Digital at the push of the remote button. I am assuming the 218/G65 could work the same with DSPs and an AC12?

Richard

ps I think I am only now realising that the DSP SE editions need MQA to truly show their ability. Must have an impact on reviews.
