Dealer wouldn't/couldn't explain further. They reiterated Meridian have some boxed product.
I'll try and push for more info tomorrow.

Ok thanks, my understanding was that volume production started a week or two ago but that is just dealer speculation?

I have prepaid mine a month ago, would be great to see a shipping confirmation soon, just can't wait - today I noticed Neil Young has found his way to Tidal Masters...Rust Never Sleeps---

If that is the holdup up on 218, maybe its the same holdup on the earlier promised Sooloos decode - and whilst we are at it, firmware for existing Meridian kit, Roon and Tidal portable apps.
Not sure though why 218 et al may be different to 8x8, Explorer 2. Prime etc.
Would be nice if the floodgate doors were about to be opened.
Is it time to wake up yet?

...they are built, but awaiting a firmware update before shipping. Hopefully we will see them next week...
... which means (hopefully) between the 24th & 29th of April!

Maybe they've had to write their own implementation of MQA.
