This is what I have been waiting for!! Not that I have been waiting for this specific album but Rodney Crowell's latest "Close Ties" was just released today 31-March-17 and to my surprise is available on day 1 in MQA via Tidal. This is the trend I have been looking for, new music released in MQA.

My prerelease order arrived today and no mention of MQA on the packaging. Oh well my 218 is not here anyway. I wonder if if is available for download purchase in MQA?

Uriah Heep 'Look at yourself' and 'Magicians Birthday' are in MQA now and even un decoded they sound the best I have heard them ever. They are Re Mastered as well and labelled as such. But if you were a fan back in the day, take a time travel.......

This might have been dealt with already - apologies if so.
I have saved a number of MQA albums to 'My Music' in Tidal. However, they do not all appear in the Sooloos control app when searching for the Mqa tag.
Is there any way round this?

I decided not to add the Tidal MQA albums to my library. Just in case Tidal was not long term successful.
I just "Tidal Blue Star Favourite" those Tidal Masters that I want to access easily from Sooloos.
Problem is they are only Alphabetically listed by Album Title and not by Artist using the following Sooloos Explore Search. I use this exclusively for Tidal MQA albums.
Easier now that Tidal have added "M" to the Album Title.
Explore: Tidal/My Library/My Favourites/Albums.
By no means a perfect solution but everything "Favourite Blue Starred" appears here and I know it is MQA.
Happy to be informed of a better solution

Rodney Crowell 'Close ties' album is not available in MQA in the UK my download is plain vanilla! It seems totally illogical that some countries can access MQA versions whereas others cannot . It's not as though the album is restricted because it can be played in standard format so why does Tidal operate duality? We are after all paying the same subscription 😡

That does surprise me. I just checked the Tidal app and when I searched for "Close Ties" both versions are offered here in the US.

I've checked on both iPad and TIDAL PC version and here in the UK there is only one version shown. What is gained by not allowing a consistency of versions over countries other than the USA?
Perhaps TIDAL may care to explain?

Winot, once a saved Tidal MQA album is played you will find it as MQA tagged.
