So what we are saying is that the anti MQA brigade, (an individual in at least) has had to stoop to hacking Facebook?
If that's true, it's sad.

I found the FB link via a tweet from HIGHRESAUDIO. I suppose it's possible their twitter account has been compromised but I doubt even the most rabid MQA opponents would go to such great lengths. Incidentally, the FB link doesn't work for me any longer either.

I agree and disagree.

Have you ever heard an owl in flight. Mice and voles (us) trust their hearing, but years of Owl evolution have made their hearing and sound targeting pretty much perfect and this coupled with almost soundless flight has allowed them to be successful in catching prey.

Maybe Meridian should change the brand to OWL AUDIO.

Never mind, evolution always has an answer...eventually...but those pesky varmints won't have a clue what's coming as soon as I get my Owl jetpacks into production...

The link I posted was taken via the facebook link on Highresaudio webpage.

That post that I also pasted was removed it seems.

It had 5 comments praising the breaking news last time I saw it before removal.

The one I posted was removed shortly afterwards also, as you pointed out. There are still two tweets on HIGHRESAUDIO's feed, each pointing to an FB post that no longer exists.


Someone went rogue at HIGHRESAUDIO and/or they changed their minds.

One of the clever chaps 'round here will be able to grab a cached copy of the page - don't worry - it still exists somewhere in the ether, on a server in the nether regions, and no-one will be able to deny its existence (if that's important to anybody)....
The related thread on the Roon forum - almost a mirror image of this one - has also disappeared. Probably deemed 'inappropriate' by their moderators.

I have hacked the title of this thread to replace the Alternative Fact with a real Fact.

MQA is still available on Highresaudio, I looked. Found they have Uriah Heep Very Eavy Very Umble in MQA studio so I found it on Tidal. The quality even undecoded is the best Inhave ever heard it. If you like this kind of thing.
