Just in, a support document from MQA to help set up Foobar for MQA, thanks to a secret source. Perhaps this will help some with problems getting MQA going with soft players. (We now have an MQA area in Duncan's Meridian Info so if anyone comes across other useful stuff/interviews/reviews/links please send over by PM and we'll put it up. And if a kind soul with some free time can send me past MQA links that are already in the forum, that would be great too.)

Page 4 and 5 are not needed, misleading and confusing.
The whole reason you setup ASIO in Foobar2000 in the first place is to BYPASS the Windows Sound Mixer.
A good test is to set that WRONG in the Sound Control and see that it has no affect on foobar2000. Also verify the Windows Volume Control has no affect on foobar2000. If either of those do affect foobar2000 then you didn't setup foobar2000 correctly and MQA will never work.
It doesn't hurt to set that in Windows for other Music Apps (that won't be "BitPerfect" or "MQA") as well as Notification "Dings" (I think). But that should be made clear in the document if you want to include that information. But has nothing to do with "MQA".
The document in a nut shell is saying here is how you bypass Windows Sound Mixer in foobar2000 then goes on to show you how to setup the Windows Sound Mixer.

Currently a WASAPI setup is a more common bit-perfect setup than ASIO. But I see the document is a couple of years old now.
DSP8000SE, DSP7200SEHC, DSP5200SE sides, DSP7200SE rears, 861v8, 210, Sim2 Ultranero 4, Stewart Cinecurve 2.35:1, XEIT CM-5E Anamorphic lens, Dune HD Duo Cinema 8K and Wireworld Platinum 48G HDMI -> UHD722 -> Shunyata Omega Ethernet. Shunyata/Furutech power-cables/filters. SR Master Fuse@861v8. Uptone Etherregen with 10MHz OCXO clock.
