Yes you have to connect up the net input on the ID41 card to the Sooloos system in Mconfig. And make sure that the AUX (SLS) source uses the ID41 as its audio input.

For the IP address issue, I would switch off your network devices and reboot the router.
Then switch each device on one by one check that its IP address is allocated.

I use a network scanning app call fing on an iPad to id my devices.

If you use any fixed (no DHCP assigned IP) make sure these an outside the range of the DHCP pool (whilst on the same subnet of course).
