Although I have had a number of conversations with Meridian about a future 861v9 and multichannel MQA/EQ/streaming, the impression I get is that their position is much like yours.

I have no interest in MQA without multichannel. I will sit on the side listening to multichannel DSD256 and DXD while I wait for the future.
