When a HH (Hector) was playing a single tidal track on an 808 using a C15 as the interface with the core running on an MD600 the C15 goes into a reboot loop, this has been replicated by a HH in the USA, latest fw was installed on all Sooloos devices, below is the comment from Meridian Atlanta.
I spoke to Meridian's tech support in Atlanta this afternoon. He logged into my MD600 and said that his diagnostics tell him that my box is in perfect shape. He believes my symptoms are consistent with a Tidal bug that he says Meridian's Sooloos developers are working on. He could not furnish a time table for resolution.
I have had Sooloos freeze up on and off where I have to reboot my MC200. After reading the posts above does this occur only when you attempt to play a single Tidal track, or does it occur when you try and play a single Tidal track within a playlist?

I'm also facing the same problem where my C15 will enter a restart loop when I play a tidal track. I then played a track from my hard disk and the restarting stopped.
Seems like a bug related to tidal. Hope they can fix this soon.

Same here, except the re-start loop on my C15 started when I was playing a Tidal playlist. It played about half way though than started re-booting. It's happened a few times in the last week or so. I have re-booted the whole system and its been playing nicely as of late.
I experienced the C15 re-boot loop for the first time this past weekend. Many thanks to Russ for taking the time to help me troubleshoot everything in the chain: C15, MD600 (WD Enterprise 4TB drives), 818v2.
By the time I spoke to Meridian Sooloos tech support in Atlanta, GA I was pretty convinced that something about the Tidal/Sooloos marriage was causing the problem. Like most marriages, things didn't start that way. I have been using Tidal for over nine months without incident until last Saturday.
The tech told me that my problem is known to Meridian and is considered a Tidal bug. He had no eta for a fix ("this is very high on the developer's priority list", and said that they have encouraged users to work around any way they could. That's not too reassuring in light of the dark hole that became of our costly Sooloos kit.
Looks like I'll just be using a Focus excluding Tidal for the time being... Oh Roon Server, Roon Server, wherefore art thou, Roon Server?
The C10 will go into infinite reboot loop when playing tracks directly from Tidal. I believe there's no problems if the album or track was already imported to the library.
When play directly from Tidal, the album art is often missing, blank. When the C10 tries to display the album art, the missing data appears to put it into the reboot loop. If the album was imported to the library, the album art is stored on the hard drive, and C10 works normally. It's just my guess.
Spoke with Des Ford today and he advised MHQ did not receive my support request.
M in UK are aware of the Tidal Sooloos problem and a"fix" is high priority, to be included in the next Sooloos SW release. Des stated that the problem has been replicated and identified but no firm date could be given for a resolution.
So in the mean time Control:PC and probably Control:Mac (not tried) are the only undesirable limited possible work arounds.
