EBA is absolutely *critical* for something like the DSW.
DSW Product Firmware Release 1.2.0 (2014-06-09) New Features
- Added Enhanced Bass Alignment.
- Gain increased for better compatibility in 2.1 systems.
- Picks up Bass and Treble from SpeakerLink (with compatible controller).
- RS232. Added control (as DSP520, DSP640 and M6), including use of non-volatile memory.
Edit: MQA "compatibility" is something completely different. The DSW does MHR, so it is "compatible" in some sense (to be revealed). AFAIK though, it predates the SE loudspeakers and advanced (SE) DAC management.
